Why We Exist
In an ideal world, we would not exist. However, along the way, we collectively took a wrong turning.
How is it that:
- Over 700,000 people a year commit suicide.
- Globally, an estimated 264 million people suffer from depression.
- In a 2020 Gallup Survey, 40% of adults said they experienced significant stress the day before, compared to 29% in 2006.
- According to a global survey published in Feb 2021, 33% of adults reported feeling lonely.
- Google searches relating to "imposter syndrome" have massively spiked since July 2018.
- A common regret of the dying is "I wish I had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me."
We believe a major cause is inauthentic living. The societies and systems in which we live are pressuring us into living a life that does not truly represent who we are. In most cases, we are not taught or shown how powerful we can really be in shaping our future.
Think about it. If we can decide who we are and we can choose the life we want to live, then why would anyone consciously choose a life of suffering, pain, loneliness, anxiety, and regret?
We have collectively lost sight of the truth, which is that we can all transform our lives for the better.
Here at BG Blueprint we want to be a leader in a powerful and necessary conversation for change.
We believe that everyone could benefit from firstly having an authentic ambition. That is having crystal clear answers to the following questions:
- Who is the real you? (Authentic)
- What is your positive purpose in life? (Ambition)
This allows us to intentionally create a life on our own terms.
Secondly, we can then use our authentic ambition as a blueprint to achieve authentic success. With the right mindset, support network, strategies, and drive it is only a matter of time before we achieve our purpose.
We believe the potential benefits of authentic living include:
- Acceptance. We believe that everyone has the right to choose and change who they are throughout their lives. We understand and accept this fundamental right.
- Endless possibility. We passionately share our dreams and goals which capture our imagination and inspire creativity on a whole new level.
- A compassionate community. We share and benefit from combined knowledge and expertise. As our community becomes more skilled and accomplished, the greater positive impact we can have both individually and collectively.
- Harmony. We shift from a culture of being right and wrong to a culture of understanding one another. We place value in different perspectives and experiences. We become far more open-minded as a society.
- Blissful longevity. We create environments that are beneficial for our physical, mental, and emotional health. Our journeys are full of energy, joy, vitality, and vibrancy.
- Deep and meaningful connection. We care for one another. We say what we mean, and we do what we say we are going to do. This level of transparency and integrity cultivates a culture of trust and respect.
- Being the generation or generations that got it right. We become shining examples for our children and younger generations. Instead of telling them who they need to be and trying to mold them in our image, we create space for them to explore who they choose to be.
This world can still exist, but only if we work together and create the change we wish to see.
